中医 (zhōngyī), traditional Chinese medicine, is widely practised alongside Western medicine and offered in many hospitals. It includes herbal medicine, acupuncture (针灸, zhēnjiǔ) and massage. Evidence for effectiveness varies by treatment, so discuss it with a qualified professional.
