Where things are

Telugu uses endings and postpositions after nouns:

• పుస్తకం బల్ల మీద ఉంది. The book is on the table.
• తాళం చెవి సంచిలో ఉంది. The key is in the bag.
• కుర్చీ కిటికీ దగ్గర ఉంది. The chair is near the window.

Describing your home

• మా ఇల్లు పెద్దది. Our house is big.
• మా ఇంట్లో మూడు గదులు ఉన్నాయి. Our house has three rooms.
