English Prepositions and Hindi Postpositions: में, पर, से, को and के
English puts small words before nouns; Hindi puts them after. Match the common pairs and learn how the possessive का/की/के changes.
English has prepositions (before the noun). Hindi has postpositions (after the noun). Once you see that, the two systems map more easily.
The basic pairs

You say the noun first, then the postposition.
